Having the "absent minded professor" for a spouse can often be daunting. Instead of romantically taking my hand and strolling with me, he is off 40' ahead of me like a little kid. I often play a cruel game of ducking into doorways to scare him when he finally notices he's left me far behind. It's nothing personal, totally incurable and can be (if you let it) grounds for a world class argument. Maybe Luci should carry the wallet next time. Best of Luck! I thought we were the only couple that fight like cats and dogs, especially on trips. Husband just doesn't travel well. He hates every arrangement I make, so after 18 years, I've stopped asking for his input on itineraries, and plan what I like. That way, at least one of us will be happy! I'd like to contribute to Share your Fights but I have so many travel fight memories, it's hard to narrow down to just a few....hmm..will have to think about it. There was the train in Brussels where we got accidentally got separated, and he got off at the next stop with the children (without telling me), and left me on to continue on to Bruge (frantic nightmare searching for my children). Then there was the big fight before the last trip to France. And yes, he did end up driving Miss Daisy from one end of the country (Brittany) to the other (Eze) in 2 days.
